LichfieldLichfield is known as the city of three spires, where Dr Erasmus Darwin, Grandfather of Charles, once travelled on horseback to visit his patients. In the shadow of the statue of Samuel Johnson and opposite his birthplace in the Market Place, you will find Lichfield Country Market trading every Friday whatever the weather and customers receive a warm welcome even on the coldest day. Lichfield Country Market is the longest running Country Market in Staffordshire. It was formed in 1964 and has always been an outside Market.
